Geba Carpet Gallery

A building tradition dating back to the 15th century as the setting for contemporary carpet design. The Geba carpet gallery is a more than adequate showroom for carpet and rug masterpieces. It also reflects Geba’s affinity with architecture and the sensitivity with which we approach tradition. The ancient vaulted ceiling of a former Dominican monastery that is more than 500 years old combined with state-of-the-art presentation technology.

An ideal location to apprehend the impact of individual carpet designs with all your senses in a distinguished atmosphere.

A Place to Meet

In the same way that our rug designs are supposed to inspire people and bring them together, our gallery is also a place for meeting and conversation where people feel drawn by the unusual ambience – at concerts, readings or exhibition openings or while enjoying a coffee in the morning and discussing art, design, the zeitgeist and everything else, for which our gallery can provide inspiration.

We also make our premises available for concerts, events and celebrations.

Graz – Our Home

Graz. A World Heritage Site, UNESCO City of Design, an (almost) Mediterranean city brimming with life and zest. Here where tradition and the avant-garde meet in an inimitable fashion, where Acconci‘s Murinsel and the world famous Kunsthaus by Cook and Fournier nestle together with the historic city centre, the Schlossberg and Clock Tower. This is not just where the Geba carpet gallery is based – the pulsating metropolis on the Mur is where we are at home.
